A big, big thank you to Persimmon homes http://m.persimmonhomes.com/ who selected Joseph's fund as one of their 'Community Champions' to receive �1000 towards his equipment! This is such great news and Joseph is thrilled that we are one step closer towards getting the eye gaze technology and bike for him. Thank you so much Alexa Burns for letting me know about this!

We have applied to another charity for funding towards the eye gaze and should hear on the next week or two whether they are able to help with this. We will then have a clear idea of exactly how much still needs to be raised. I am training hard and managing 5k comfortably now (which is a big achievement for me!). Hopefully it won't be long before I am ready to do the 10k to raise some more funds, with hopefully Joseph joining in with the race!
