This event was held in Johannesburg, South Africa

PERFORMANCE INFO

"Individual performers will each have exactly 60 seconds on stage. Groups are given 3 minutes to audition. Any performances longer than this will be stopped. You will be required to introduce yourself at the finals – name, age and a short mention about yourself. This must be done in English only. Please make sure your introduction is no longer than 1 minute as we will stop you."

For Talent Disciplines (Singers, Actors Dancers) – They set up a stage with a basic sound system for our performance. Actors were required to dress in black for their performance. Actors had to perform a monologue (NOT a dialogue and not stand up comedy).

DATES

The Summer Heat Gala Finals will be held on Thursday 16 October. You will need to be present in Johannesburg from 10am on Tuesday 14 October until after the show on Thursday 16 October. On Tuesday and Wednesday your time will be jam packed with rehearsals, workshops, photoshoots, judges interviews and loads of fun. A full schedule will be sent to you closer to the time. Those who are not there will definitely miss out. The actual Gala Final of Summer Heat will be held on Thursday 16 October. We suggest that contestants from other provinces arrive on Monday evening so that they are ready for the busy days starting on Tuesday morning.
