My name is Lebogang Bridgette Kgosana, I am a 19 years old South Africa girl who has always been interested in joining the Entertainment world through fashion and film, I always thrive to please myself, family and those around me and always avoid disappointment and therefore only apply to things I know I can achieve. Applying is one of my first steps into entering the media world in a safer and more informed way and since your institution is well known and in New York… it has been a proven fact that I can have a better start in this career if I am in the USA, has more jobs for those taking this career path.
As an aspiring Model and actress, at the moment I am taking a gap year after passing my matric in 2013. I was an intern at boss models Cape Town which ended on the 7th of November 2014. I live in Cape Town and have modelled for a local fashion show (odyssey fashion project and viva la vida by the agency SA). I have also entered many competitions and have been chosen by summer heat search as the best female actor to represent western cape in Johannesburg, against the rest of the other province and was given the opportunity by Elsubie De Lange to perform at the International Talent Showcase in Johannesburg as a model and actress, and did receive a call-back from Kim Myers to perform at the ARTS Expo convention in Florida. I have also been accepted to study at The New York Film Academy on the 26th of May 2015. I need to raise R709 001.82 ($64 242.71 USD) for my tuition, accommodation and monthly expenses for 2015 in order to live my dream and study in the USA, please any help given or suggested will be highly appreciated. My mother and I are planning to also hold a fundraising event.
Sponsorship details: I have been accepted to study at The New York Film Academy and have been invited by Kim Myers to perform on her stage in Orlando, Florida at the ARTS CONVENTION happening in June 2015 and my New York Film Academy registration day is on the 26th of May where classes will begin on the 1st of June 2015. Since Rands are weak compared to US Dollars, it has shown the amount of money I will need for 2015 is a lot, I need to raise R709 001.82 ($64 242.71)for my tuition, accommodation and monthly expenses for 2015 in order to live my dream and study in the USA, please any help given or suggested will be highly appreciated. My mother and I are planning to also hold a fundraising event and i have been given a $6000 USD scholarship and will be applying for a need-based-grant from the Academy as well.
