Birthday Fundraiser for political initiative to end factory farming in Switzerland

So this week I am turning 24 and for the next 24 days I would like to run my birthday fundraiser for the initiative that I really care about. Last week Sentience Politics has launched a political initiative called Massentierhaltungsinitiative that will attempt to get rid of cruel factory farming methods in Switzerland. If 100 000 signatures are collected in the next 18 months, there will be a national vote whether the country wants such practices to exist or not. The initiative has potentially a huge impact by attracting public attention to what goes behind their food and improving welfare of animals. Additionally, factory farms are not only bad for animals, they cause huge environmental harm and contribute to hunger in developing countries. I would really like to see a world where factory farms do not exist and animals are treated with respect rather than a commodity. This initiative is the first step to getting there.
