Its going to be my birthday and i really badly want an ipad, the only problem is that four years ago my mom got laid off from work. After my mom got laid off my grandmother got very sick and was ill for about two years and my mom took care of her since she couldn't walk anymore (because of a pinched nerve), and my aunt was an alchoholic and was not trutworthy to be alone with my grandmother. In December of 2010, my grandmother passed away which gave my mom about 3 months to look for a job until my aunt was diagnosed with liver cancer. Now my aunt can't get around well because the liver cancer causes her to get short of breath so my mom has to care for her, so my mom can't get a job without leaving my aunt helpless. Anyways my family is barely getting by and we would never have enough money for an ipad so im trying to raise enough so that i can get the ipad myself without taking too much money from my parents.
