BikerzPlus – Your Discount Motorcycle Gear Store

How BikerzPlus came to be:   

     BikerzPlus is a Veteran Owned discount motorcycle gear store. I started this company online in 2005 to supplement my low military pay. I needed an extra income to provide for my two children as a single parent. I also needed the extra income to pay for my college books as I attended college, and in order to get promoted in the Army. Now, I am ready to open my store. I will provide discount motorcycle gear, safety equipment, provide motorcycle safety and license courses. I suffered a loss last year that helped me decide to do these things for Bikers.

The Tragedy that gave me purpose:

     Last year I lost a Soldier, whom I served with during war. This particular Soldier was like a son to me and had changed from a trouble Soldier, into a model leader. He called me a few months before he died, telling me that he wanted to thank me for disciplining him and for not giving up on him. He went on to tell me how he wanted to retire from the Army and how good he was doing. One day he was riding his motorcycle with several other Soldiers, when he lost control of his bike and crashed into a tree in Germany. I received a call from another Soldier that I served with during the same time telling me what happened. Needless to say, I was devastated, in disbelief, speechless and sad. He was only 25 years old, left behind a wife and two young boys.

My Awakening:

     It was at that time that I was moved to make a difference by offering motorcycle safety certification classes, selling discount motorcycle and safety equipment for riders, passengers and for motorcycles as well. I realized that "Loud Pipes" were not all that could have saved his life, some of my friend's lives and family's lives. Some of them didn't have the proper safety equipment on during their fatal accidents.

How your contributions will help:

     Your contributions will help me provide discounted gear and classes for every motorcycle rider that comes in my store. I know that some people can afford the motorcycle, but skimp on safety equipment and gear because of how expensive it can be. I want to change that by offering the lowest possible cost on quality biker gear and safety equipment. This is my way of helping everyone, especially now during this slow economy. I am expanding my online presence, improving my website, as well as opening my highly requested store, after all of these years of selling my products online, at flea markets, bike meets, and special events.

How I will help the Biker:

     My store will allow the Biker to drive in, see how the gear looks on the bike. This will allow indoor safety equipment and biker luggage fittings and installations. I want to give the rider the opportunity to fit his or her luggage or safety equipment prior to purchase, to ensure a good fit.
