I am starting my own private label online web store.

I have the suppliers (ethically sourced wholesalers), the packagers, and the distributors in place. The only thing I don't have is the capital/funds, to make my dream a reality.

Just over 3 years ago, I was a morbidly obese, lethargic, nutrient deficient. Coffee, alcohol and antidepressant dependent working mother. Due to the stress of my profession and busy unhealthy lifestyle, I developed a condition of the immune system (my immune system went kaput). I lost almost all of my hair, I suffered persistent bouts of excruciating pain in my joints (including trips to A&E), and approximately an eighth of the right side of my body was left horrifically scarred.

Long story made short. I had to make lifestyle changes. I had to give up my profession, taking a less stressful (much lower paid) position. My diet had to change, the alcohol intake(I had become quite dependent on) stopped, as did the excessive coffee drinking.

I started adding, vitamin and food supplements to my diet, and found my energy levels and general well-being and health increased. I began to follow an non-inflammatory diet as well as taking some super-foods (known for their anti-inflammatory properties), to lessen the painful episodes I was suffering from quite regularly. Surprisingly the painful episodes lessened and stopped. I was advised by my consultant that my immune condition had also gone into remission, and slowly my hair is growing back.

During this time of transition (2 years) I lost just over 3 and a half stones in weight (just over 51lbs), almost by accident(weight-loss was not a goal or intention) , through the pursuit of health and a more holistic approach to pain relief.

During this time I qualified as a health and nutrition adviser, so I could help myself and others on their journey to optimum health.

So here I am 3 years later, no longer morbidly obese and able to buy clothes in all major stores. Scarred but healthy, financially less well off, but so much happier. Wanting to put my name to the same supplements and super-foods that have played such a pivotal role in my change of health.

Ideally I'd love to fund this start-up myself, but unfortunately my circumstances don't allow me to. So I'm appealing to my friends and family to help make my dream become a reality. And allow me to bring an affordable, healthier option to those who really are in desperate need one.
