New Skateboard of the Universe

Name is Lambert ( AKA Lamb) and my soul purpose here is to define a totally different skateboarding lifestyle.

Everybody here is aware of our rich skateboarding culture. Dating all the way back to as early as the 40s, skateboarding is so engraved in our history, and society, that it has turned into a token of humanity. I remember when I was a kid I use to skateboard everywhere and anywhere and absolutely loved doing it too. I felt so expressive and free when I would ride my board that it became a part of how I lived.

Recently though, I have realized skateboarding has not been as popular as it was when I was younger (in the 90s and early 2000s). When I was a youngster, everybody use to and wanted to skateboard so much that it became kind of over saturated (in a good way) but I just don't see that same fire within the sport as much today. Currently though you see skateboard variations like Penny Boards and Long Boards, Long Boards coming out in the 60s and Penny Boards in the 70s, becoming extremely popular nowadays even though they have ALWAYS been around. So I think maybe that's a sign that it's time for positive lifestyle change.

This is where the idea for Be Boardz came about. Be Boardz takes the action of an old alternative skateboard called Alterskate and combines it with a regular skateboard. For those who don't know what Alterskates are, it uses the concept of a rotatable platform. So with Be Boardz' rotate-to-turn AND lean-to-turn navigation, it provides its riders with a unique skateboarding experience that only it can accomplish through its brilliant design. With quicker and sharper turns, the board features newly designed trucks to meet the needs of the navigational system, with stoppers that control the motion of the rotating system along w/ disks that are placed at the two ends of the board, connected to the truck system, instead of right on top of the board (seen in that of Alterskates). Be Boardz has great fluidity and a very sleek design so you would look and feel cool and casual carrying or riding the board.

I am here solely to try to raise funds to help run a short manufacturing production run of my product for further development and testing. I am also looking into other possibilities. With my design specifics, I am able to make the board into different skateboard variations like types of Penny Boards, Long Boards, electric powered boards, etc. There are even possibilities of regular skateboard tricks on it and more. My board has the capability to "be" come any skateboard style, hence the name "Be" Boardz. This is precisely how I plan on creating this different "way of life" that I feel our new millennials need. So please join me on my journey, and support my cause in reshaping, completely, the way we skateboard and street cruise.
