Be a Part of a Film Composer’s Future!

I am Akos Lustyik, a classically trained composer from Budapest, Hungary. I have been offered an opportunity to attend the Royal College of Music, London, for a master's course in film music composition, commencing this September. Being accepted to one of the finest institutions in the world to study film music, is a major step in my career as a composer, and I am extremely honored and excited.

My request of you is to assist in funding both my expenses for tuition and residing in London. As a resident of Hungary, my current earnings are not comparable to the cost of living in London and the added cost of tuition.

I am fortunate to have been granted a partial scholarship (2000£, approximately 2500€, $2800, 800,000 Ft) by the College, and I am eligible for additional funds with the assistance of a "top-up" scholarship. To qualify, I must demonstrate that I have raised funds for tuition from contributions and other sources. Subsequently, the College will subtract an equal amount of the funds raised from my tuition. Yes, I, too, had not been aware of this type of scholarship.

I am requesting your assistance in order to receive the College credit of 2500£ I need for my studies. Large or small, every donation brings me closer to my goal.

For larger donations, I offer my composition skills for your company or for a product video, commercial advertising, or to score a film. I can assist you with a song you would like to write, or, I can write an original piece for a special event or special person, in honor of your contribution. If you have questions about instruments, music, or films, I can advise. I am a composer and a musician—this is what I do best.

ABOUT ME:

Having completed studies at the internationally famous Franz Liszt Academy of Music, Budapest, I have been involved in numerous projects, from film & Television to theatre and concert music. I have scored student films, short films, wrote music for a documentary for The Discovery Channel. In music production, I have been a music copyist, music editor and score editor.
