UNWTO’s Tourism 2020 Vision forecasts that international arrivals are expected to reach nearly 1.6 billion by the y 2020. In top 3 receiving regions will be Europe (717 million tourists)!

Croatia is novice and can't stand it any more, not like this.

What do you do when something you love is in danger? At diving course we were teaching novice to stop,think and then act. So did I and Eco tourist as vision emerged. We are personally responsible to become more ethical than the society we grew up in.

We matter, our choices matter, our choices transform, ourselves , society, environment, world !!

Little bit about me !

Have you ever herd of Simon Sinek's why? Or have you ever herd Jay Shatty talking about life with purpose ?? Long before encountering their work Eco tourist emerged in my heart and mind as wish of how to give back to this land, but above all to this people. How to wrap all my love and all in what I might be good at and make this lifetime experience of service. How to make living was never question. This country so simple, so row, exhausted and abused by decades thought me even as 12 y old in between bomb chunks that I don't need much. That along loving family and beautiful relationships with healthy mindset of not needing much you indeed can be happy with what you have here and now.

This is me, Marina, author of eco tourist project and It's 21th ct ! f**ck it ;) !!! We can really do some cool stuff now . There are huge possibilities if we only recognize each other, hear each other and team up .

This is my call. Let's team up as conscious consumers. Let's send message laud and clear. Tourism, travelling industry can be boost of good and we need values behind metrics. Eco tourist project and platform we are about to offer is bringing those values.

To make us believe we matter over decades Industries were giving solutions abusing local labour,environment, using single used plastic, building fences on local properties to keep you and me away one from other. Overdelivering with cheep processed food purchased from questionable retailers with doubting provenience. Nature and peoples well being as Infrastructure that can hardly bare our behavior !

Tourism is not exception !

Not even one country should deforest and concrete natural coast to bring your and mine sunbed close to the sea.

There are so many solutions to overcome challenges in front of us and we are about to offer them over this project.

So back to begging .

I kicked it off in 2012. when in order to place vision of this project's potential in baby steps on market I had to become entrepreneur and so I founded Pro Eko ltd.

After working for 15 y in this sector, being underpaid or non paid at all for couple of moth, after working in collaboration with local institutions, tourist boards, creating events to entertain and pass my heritage to fellow travelers within me I knew I should be doing much more in sense of involving local economy ad ''give back'' on sharing economy model.

I have been witnessing coastal construction pressure being raised ;

The data show a terrible picture - in Croatia between 1960 and 2000, the coastline construction was 5 times higher than all generations until 1960! By 1960 we had 150 kilometers of construction, and in 2000 it was 830 kilometers. Horror!

Young people leaving Croatia in search for better work conditions;

By 2018. 370 000 of working age people left this country.

O I bet you herd about city of Dubrovnik ? Instagram best known Croatia spot ! But you don't know that 65% of local's aren't living there anymore ! Due to what?? Poor developmental planing, cruise ships , tax pressure ecc.

Not willing to be intimidated with all I decided to take a loan to finance beginning of this vision of mine.

How I Started to develop this project !

First step was to be able to buy a boat and take you on non touristic spots and show you beauty I've been sucking in my lungs as fuel to purposeful life and eventually inspire you to do the same in your own little. To pass on you joy and create something different from standard offers for you.

I wrote this project and after 2 y of Croatian sloth fast bureaucracy I got a loan, subventions, and there i was , summer 2015 and I'm proudly standing at the coast selling trips for approximately 35 $ . Another problem jumped in . People were always price oriented, not to blame . I do it often also.

My boat could take up to 30 passengers and as i was surrounded with boats of 150 and + capacity i could not offer same price but I did at the end. Just to tell my story, stay there, promote loca's products, reduce single used plastic and do much much more.

Build relationship so in the future i could make platform with all possible imaginable services for those who give a damn where their investment goes and how does it reflect to environment, local economy growth ecc.

So we could say i was always transformational orientated not transactional .

Unlike lot of agencies. Or it was to early or it was to important that fee the other boats were giving, they somehow didn't see the right value behind. But I kept showing up.

You and us deserved that more i was wiling to offer and create.

Slowly,people recognized and they were doing promotion for me and foreign agencies appeared. Meanwhile business started to grow but another problem pooped out.

Its called seasonality .

Yea Croatia started journey on world tourism map being mass oriented so we have like 90 crazy days of tourism and then ghost cities. I knew it would effect my business but i kept showing up.

I'm building this platform as response to that problematic as well !

Why crowdfunding?

I kept going knowing I will be building e commerce platform and in future also our eco tourist village just for my like minded soul travelers, businesses, who resonate on the same level and all this beautiful people around me.

Blue printed in my mind and on my heart I kept that vision alive knowing if I manage to make that lady plant just one tomato more in name of eco tourist project , just one craft more that i will be offering you on this future platform , my heart will find rest and I will be fulfilled. Just as I am when we drive around in channel. When you have vision to follow you have to serve, not to chase. And i knew there is more I could build and bring.

But I couldn't move as i wished.

My financial situation couldn't allowed me much. Poor developmental policies of my country blocked my moves and things were not flowing as I wished. This is where I decided to turn to you. I know you are out there somewhere resonating with all this. I need you to back me and build with me now. I invite you too.

We entered in 2019 Time to rise awareness !!

Things are starting to move in right direction ! People around the globe are rising awareness of their own role and potential by backing good stuff. They know that as consumers they are in driving set and CAN challenge future of any industry. Team up with me. Team up with me as business or as individual.

What's next?

By backing up this project you will be backing up all above. We have so many micro solutions to cover all problematic listed above . But I need you . You are my platform. People and their capacitiy and potential here are my platform.

We will be making this thing work at the end, together, brand being created with, for and along their user. This is what we are offering. Eco tourist as guaranty of provenience, quality, involvement, togetherness, boosting good.

So let' s go to big picture immediately .

- Boat, to float with visible sign on it, to share this message, to be used to promote full potential of this project. Hosting you while creating different tours, hosting beach clean up movements, education events, journalists willing to share our stories as example of boost of good we aim to be.. ahhhhhhhhh !!! If we reach final score boat is ours. Ta daaaa.. Mine and yours, not form the bank anymore, welcome creativity by by struggle to stay on market !

We will be crating boat tours and promote environmental friendly solutions by non using single used plastic as all other boat does and by serving only local produced food unlike others!

We will be able to use boat for our tribe needs, means if you need it for something just contact us as our member we will help you fulfill your need independent if you are business or individual.

- E commerce platform will be built to be of service for and with you and to promote you all we consider worth of based on high standards we set for ourselves and our partners.

First micro project under eco tourist wing will be launched beside Boat tours .

- We are buying 8 seat car and lot of tech stuff so me and my geek friend can move around and make lot of content related to consumerism issue and beauty and diversity to be protected and respected over our just opened you tube channel.

Car will be used for our transfers and if possible with budget we go for electric one .

In our tribe offers there will be more days program for small groups so we really need our vehicle. On the road to document beauty and choose right like minded partners to be able to serve the best on our platform. That will be our winter off season duty. Guess what?? Sigh up for our tribe membership and you will be able to join us when we go to explore for

We need it also to be able to deliver our social good boxes around.

Everything else will be used for marketing marketing and marketing. We need to rise our voice high. Make echo with our eco.

- If over funded, immediately, knowing Croatian sloth fast bureaucracy we will start to make paperwork for our future eco tourist village . So in some y we are ready and meanwhile hopefully we will be like family and relatives in this eco tourist tribe we are about to create.

And now question of all questions !! What will happened if we don't hit this goal??

Worse scenario? Bank will take my boat and sell it, or i will have to do it. To gain some time. Maybe even to one from you so we continue to work on this all without delay and interruption

But worry not, that will not stop me. All listed above will happen sooner or later, better sooner that is why I rushed to you.

This world needs us different yesterday . Croatia needs different tourism development and my people deserve better. I promise you as long as I breathe i will be making something to make my vision reality.

Eco tourist will be real leading brand, aprouch to follow, to expect from, brand of future created with and along with users to give back ! I dare to dream big
