Battle Against Lymphoma

My wonderful, kind, and generous friends Ruth Shuttleworth and Keanen Shuttleworth recently found out that their sweet little boy, Wiliam , has the most aggressive form of lymphoma. Without chemotherapy, he may only have a few months to live.


William is a young boy who adores everyone and everything. He is only 8 years old and we all thought he would get the chance to live a long, beautiful life.


We’re humbly asking for donations so that Ruth and Keanen have the means to do a round of chemo to give William a happier, longer life. Without chemo, he may have weeks or months to live. With the most affordable form of chemo, he could have several years. With the most effective form of chemo, he could go into remission and have even longer.


Obviously, nothing is more precious to Ruth and Keanen than William's life. They have been assured by William's oncologist that chemo will not be miserable or in pain from his treatment. It would simply give him more time with the people he loves most in the world.


We are going to do our best to raise some money so that our friends can have more time with William, who they love more than anything.


R85 000 (5000 USD) is the total amount for the most affordable chemo, and R200 000 (12000 USD) is the total amount for the most effective form of chemo.
