Basketball Kit

Update posted by TorbayTigers On May 13, 2015

Sadly with great sadness Ben has had to pull out of the Edinburgh marathon as he ruptured his hamstring during training.  He was 4 miles into his last 20 mile run and he felt a twinge in his leg.  By 6 miles he was walking thinking there was something wrong and at 6.5 miles he could not walk at all.

Everyone is gutted for him, especially with all the hard work and training he has done towards this marathon. He will now have to rest and wait for it to heal but he expects to run again in another marathon later this year.

The Torbay Tigers girls team and everyone at the club wishes he a speedy recovery and wants to thank him for raising the funds he has done so far and we will keep in touch.

The GoGetFunding page will continue to be live until the 28th May and then we will use the funding raised towards the new basketball kit which the girls will be delighted about.

Many thanks again to everyone who has donated.
