Bakti.., an amazing, energetic 6 month old ball of pup energy and enthusiasm. Romping around with his puppy friends one day, chasing toys and living life to the fullest..., and the next day he throws up a massive blood clot on the way to puppy training. He was emergently admitted to the hospital where he was found to be severely anemic with an active GI bleed of undetermined origin, foreign material in his system, low protein and poor kidney function.
The current vet bill is at $5K with another $2-3K for continued care, blood transfusions, x-rays and additional diagnostic work to identify the cause of his bleed and get him healthy for a potential surgery.
Bakti is the youngest member of my household. I love my animals, am diligent with their emotional and physical care. I dedicate my whole being to their well being. I can't imagine having to make a decision to euthanize him at such a young age because of finances... especially when the vet clinic is confident of a promising prognosis if we can just get past this crisis.
I'm a proud, strong person and asking for help is difficult. My friends would tell you that I am obsessed with my pups, do everything for them, spend more on them in treats, enrichment, training and all around wellness .., then I do for myself. I am swallowing my pride and asking for you to help.
Times are tough, unprecedented at best! Can find it in your heart to help me, help my little man Bakti?
My gratitude for the priceless gift of his life would be evident every day as I would shower unconditional love onto him, pass my gratitude for your generosity onto others, wake thankful for daily for the humanity of your donation, mindful of new special friends that gave him back his life & returned him to his pack.
