This is the 5th year that badgers will be culled in the Gloucestershire Cull Zone and the supplementary cull licence is active now. It is expected that nine new culling licences will be issued this year in Cheshire, Devon, Dorset and Wiltshire. This will bring the total number of culling licences to 17 and could lead to the killing of over 10,000 more badgers by early October, bringing the total number of badgers killed since 2013 to over 25,000. CIHW will be actively trying to save badgers as well as foxes in Glos and Wilts. Please help towards our fuel costs. All donations gratefully received.

Thank you for all your efforts at protecting badgers and wildlife on behalf of us all. When will the government understand and accept that shooting badgers is not going to eradicate TB in cattle. Stay safe out there in the fields.
