Baby Kyzer’s Fight with Critical Conginetal Heart Disease (TAPVR)

My baby nephew Kyzer Gabriel was born last December 20, 2020. Days later, he was diagnosed with a Critical Congenital heart disease (CHD) called Total Anomalous Pulmounary Venous Return (TAPVR). Along with this is also Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) and Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA).

What happens to my nephew's heart is the oxygen-rich blood does not return from his lungs to his left atrium. Instead, the oxygen-rich blood returns to the right side of the heart.

At barely a month old, our baby is not getting enough oxygen for his body. The CDC considers TAPVR as a Critical Congenital Heart Disease.

Baby Kyzer's Doctor has recommended open heart surgery to correct his heart at the Philippine Heart Center, Quezon City, Philippines. Baby Kyzer and his Parents are still at Negros Occidental and are working to have him admitted at PHC amidst the Covid-19 Pandemic.

The Doctor has advised us to prepare At least PHP 700,000 (about 15,000 USD) for the surgery. We are on our wit's end on how to gather this astronomical amount in such a limited time since we cannot prolong our baby's condition anymore.
