This is a donation page for Hattie Bagley's medical expenses due to her multiple heart conditions including heterotaxy syndrome, tapvr, single ventricle along with other congenital heart defects. She will be born on January 23rd, 2014. Thank you so much for thinking of her and your gifts. God bless you.
Hattie passed away into the Lord's arms at 4:45 est. this morning. She went peacefully and is now enjoying a new body that is not broken. Hattie's life had a tremendous impact on the world. What a gift she has left us. She taught me to be the hands and feet of Jesus for those who cannot. I am sure she taught all of us something. Not what a gift she left us, but what a gift she is. I am forever grateful that she is part of my life. She only knew love. Not heartbreak , anger, or despair. She will always leave in impact in my life and I know she will for others.
Thank you with all of my heart for joining this journey with me and donating. Ashley said my goal was lofty and you exceeded it. You all are such blessings. Even if you didn't give financially, you gave of your spirit and time. You will never know how much it means to Ashley and Richie and to me.
I am going to miss not getting to be an Aunt to this sweet girl, but I am filled with joy she is at rest.
They are weaning her off some of her medication because she has to regulate her body. The doctors are meeting to decide how to go about that. This is critical because she is having a hard time regulating herself but she can't stay on the medication indefinately as it starts to affect other organs.
Hattie went into cardiac arrest suddenly last night. They eventually got her stablized. They are testing her to see if she has an infection in her body. Obviously, things aren't quite heading in the right direction. The next 72 hours will be crucial to her outcome. She has already touched so many lives and we just pray for her safety and healing.
Her night wasn't the best. Her bp and heart rate become erratic when she moves. It requires a lot of intervention when this happens. She is not able to get rid of all the fluid herself so they are hoping with the picc line they can administer medicine that will help her get rid of the excess fluid build up. She is so critically ill. Prayers are much appreciated.
I just want to emphasize that Hattie is still critically stable. She has a very long road and she is very ill . But she is starting to accumulate small improvements. Keep praying for her! Thank you to everyone.
Hattie stayed stable through the night. They are going to try to wean her off some of thr medicine. She is breathing 20% on her own and her kidneys have started to function normally so she is getting rid of some of the fluid on her own.
Hattie is not where the doctors would like her to be right now. She has not been able to breathe on her own without the help of a machine. As far as I know, they are going to keep on the machine again today and not try to wean her off as her lungs are not functioning properly yet. Today has been a set back. But things can change in a matter of minutes so not giving up hope yet!
She is recovering from her surgery right now. The critical part now is keep her pulmonary veins open for the blood to flow through. There is a chance that they could scar which would be a bad scenario. All we can do is pray they stay open!
