Student Res Fees – Kele Le Tau

My name is Kelebogile Legoko. A BA student who reached out to many via social media to raise her BA University Fees. By Gods Grace, they were paid off and I managed to graduate a few weeks ago. I am currently doing my Honors Degree in Live Performance and am in need of paying off my student accommodation fees as living arrangements logistically need me to be near school. (All has been explained in brief uploaded video.)

Due to the late nights, rehearsals, late classes and at times screenings, staying at res has not only ensured my safety, it has also aided me academically as libing arrangements at home are not fully conducive to study in. I am extremely passionate about the Arts and aspire of becoming an Actress, Theatre Practitioner and Drama teacher to name a few things. In 2020, I reached out to social media asking for help with R365 000 to pay for my entire degree. With the help of a few bursaries, student loans and a few side jobs (selling poetry, babysitting, MCing and performing poetry at events), I've been able to raise the fees as explained above and in the video. The school offered me a bursary for my Postgrad year and my bursary was able to pay 55% of the accommodation fees. I am however still in need of R32 500 to pay this off and will immensely appreciate yoir help.

From a young age, I've had to learn to adapt to change, rapid growth and interrogate and interact with independence and fighting for my dreams. It's not easy to show up for self, but a journey worth taking.
