Ayla’s Birthing Courses

Dear friends,

you know I'm working hard on my nutrition degree and have just completed a doula course. The plan is to eventually open a holistic birthing centre with pre and post natal classes, workshops, support and education. I know from personal experience that the pregnancy and postpartum care a woman receives highly impacts on her ability to parents which in turn affects that baby's life in so many ways. I'm passionate about a holistic kind and loving start for all families. 

While I'm raising my own, money is tight. We are so lucky to have fabulous speakers coming from all over the world to the Midwifery Today conference at Bury St Edmunds this year; it has never before been held in the UK and won't be repeated here for years. It's a five day event for birth workers to meet the luminaries in the field and hear the latest research and techniques, seminars and workshops, plus the opportunity to network with others in the field. 

Then the amazing Jane Hardwicke Collings is coming from Australia with her one day event on shamanic birth practises. It's in Glastonbury the very day we are driving past on our way back from Cornwall visiting friends, it's too good to be true. Places are limited and I've paid a deposit, but for the two events I need £630. I can't raise that by myself so I need your help! I promise to help with your births and to sponsor you when the business is up and running, so in the spirit of gift economy and helping us to achieve our dreams I am humbly asking for donations of whatever you can afford; every little helps.
