I am trying raise funds to contribute to the Derbyshire Autism Support Services Group.  This charity is close to my heart for a number of reasons (no, not just because I live in Derbyshire).  The groups aims to promote and enhance the care of people with Autism Spectrum Conditions & other disabilities. Importantly, this charity assist, supports and guides carers of people with autism and disabilities.  www.autismsupport.co.uk I am sure that any donation, no matter how big or small, will be put to really good use and help this small charity achieve it's aims in making a difference to the lives of those who are challenged by autism.  Let me tell you very briefly about my own challenge that I am using to highlight this charity.  On my own accord (totally self-funded and any money raised will go directly to autismsupport), I will be walking 52km, up and down the 14 highest peaks in Snowdonia (all above 3000ft) and it's known as the Welsh 3000s challenge.  This will be done within 24 hours. For those of you that know my past record on walking you'll know it will be a miracle if I make it through to the end without something calamitous happening.  There will be 4 other people supporting me along the way. The walk will take place on the 21st June but of course any later donations will be much appreciated. X X X X X X X
