Aston Vision orphanage and school

Hi everyone, as some of you already know I’m currently volunteering in Tanzania for a month at Aston Vision Orphanage, Arusha. After spending some time at the orphanage and with the children, I have realised that there are some things in particular that they are in desperate need of and I feel very strongly about helping improve the lives of these children in any way I can. The children are given flour and water for lunch, which for many of them is their only meal of the day. There are two children at the orphanage who have special needs, however a classroom suited to their needs has not yet been completed due to a lack of funds. Some of the young people I have met have encountered violence and extremely poor living conditions throughout their lives, but this doesn’t stop them from always having a smile on their face and being so grateful for everything they have and everything that the orphanage has provided them with. Every penny of your donations will go towards the orphanage and towards ensuring these children are happy, healthy and well educated by the time they are old enough to take care of themselves.
