Hi there,
The reason for me starting this fundraiser to to hopefully raise some funds to assist me in my journey of getting asthetic ears.
This story began about 3 years ago, I was diagnosed with epilepsy - my seizures were frequent and without warning. I had a seizure in my flat and my large dog panicked and tried to wake me up, he however bit off both my ears...
I am blessed to still have my hearing - however my hearing ability has declined largely. Due to the ears serving as filters for noise - my hearing in large crowds or even with slight background noise is incredibly difficult.
I worry that in the long term my ear drums will be effected by this.. It has been recommended that I get asthetic ears made and fitted to prevent further damage from occurring.
Any contribution big or small would be greatly appreciated - it may seem like a choice based on vanity but it is more to preserve my hearing in the long run.
The cost to fit these is steep and I unfortunately cannot bare the cost alone.
Kindly consider assisting me with this. It would be so very aporiciated. All funds received will go towards medical expenses relating to this. I will provide updates as the process goes on.
