Association for Biblical Counseling Conference

Hello friends!

As many of you know I am a student of theology, I just recently graduated with my Master's of Arts in Theological Studies this past Nov 2016. On January 16th I will continue my studies to complete my Master's of Divinity in Apologetics from Liberty University, and God willing get accepted into a Ph.D in Theology. I love to teach and discovered this passion several years ago. Currently I am high school teacher for a private christian school in central Florida.

My other passion is counseling, biblical counseling to be specific. I have begun my level 1 training with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors this past November. ACBC is the most respected and sort after training in the biblical counseling community and the task is nothing less than the best of sound professional counseling training that doctrine strong.

One of the "recommended" requirements is attending training at the ACBC annual conference. This year the conference will take place in Jacksonville, Fl. This is idea for me cause last year it was in San Diego, CA. So I don't have to purchase a plane ticket. (whew) But I do have to register for the conference at student rate $140.00 which will also provide me 30 hours of video DVD training value at $100 (free) in addition, I have to book accommodations as well.

When we (my wife and I), she works for my school as well, decided to do ministry work full time we knew that things would change and it has tremendously. But we rely on God's provision for all our needs, he has always provided and I know he will provide again.

I started a fundraiser to allow me to attend the ACBC conference and pay for my hotel while I train for 3 days, network with others in the field and learn how to connect other with doctrine sound counseling to provide hope. Every dime with pay for the cost of the registration and accommodation. I have already pre-register off-line to hold my spot. In order to receive the 30 hours of additional video training DVD's my registration portion ($140.00) is required to be paid by December 31st 2016.

I am asking for help from my FB family who believes in biblical counseling and want to help multiple God's solution ( his word) to life challenges like Pornography, Drug Addiction, Sexual Abuse, Anxiety, Depression, Marriage, and Anger just to name a few.

While the conference is 10 months away the urgency is the utmost. I have been put on a waiting list for one of my classes and we are still 10 months away. The quicker I can pay for my registration ($140), I wont's lose the lower student rate and receive the 30 hours of profession DVD training as a bonus and solidify my classes at the conference.

Will you consider donation to my mission, will you partner with me? Help me get the training provided to help my community and provide a service for my church family and school? I ask you to pray and consider what God will ask of you to contribute. There are many, many individuals and families that will benefit from your generosity including my family. Biblical counseling training is a family journey we all benefit as a family.
