Campaign Story
In the collections of the Abbey Museum, there are some rare works of old masters, including Raphael's "Bridgewater Madonna", attributed to Carlo Marrata )'S "Madonna and Child", the shepherd worship after Gerard van Hontehorst and Pierre Paul Prud'hon (Paul Prud'hon). Many of them have been exhibited in the Queensland Art Gallery for several years. The reserve collection also includes important icons dating back to the 15th century and a series of watercolors from English schools, including Birkett Foster and John Cotman. Unfortunately, due to limited space, the Monastery Museum cannot display these exquisite artworks. We have been raising funds for the project, but progress has been slow. You can help bring this new gallery to life! Please consider donating for this project so that we can share our wonderful art collection with you and all visitors.
