Appreciating Diversity through Adventure

Seven Summits project is an adventure project in which a mountaineer summits the highest peak of each and every continent in the world. I have started my seven summits project with the aim of summiting the highest peaks of Africa, Europe, and South America within the first 12 months. Overall, I aim to summit the highest peaks of all 7 continents by the end of 2025.

In terms of records, I'll become only the 3rd Pakistani to complete seven summits. To be honest, this attractive record is not the driving force for me here. I have always believed that diversity is not to be feared but to be celebrated. Especially coming from a country like Pakistan, I can easily say that if you consider diversity your enemy, then it'll actually become your biggest weakness. But if you start celebrating it, then it'll become your biggest strength. Through this project, I aim to document human stories from all across the world. I am going to use my writing as a platform to tell the world that we all might look different, speak different languages or have different history, but with our tender heavy hearts, we are all the same. Looking for some love, respect and acceptance. Since I'll be climbing some high mountains, my words will make a bigger impact and will hopefully, inspire more people. That is why I have named this project: "Appreciating Diversity through Adventure".

Alhamdulilah, I have summited the first peak: the highest peak of continent Africa. Now, I am preparing for the second peak, i.e., Mt Elbrus, the highest peak of continent Europe.

I have a few sponsors on board: Shan Foods, Crescent Steel and Allied Products, but the overall cost is much more than the sponsorship amounts. Even the first expedition is not fully covered through sponsorships and then there are back to back expeditions in this project. Therefore, I have started this gofundme campaingn so that I don't have to stop the project in case I do not have enough sponsors on board.
