  Company Description: APE Concepts is a registered company that was registered on the 20th of July 2013 by four individuals, namely: Jean-Jacques Markgraaff, Sisa Mtatyana, Katlego Kevin Kgosieng and Andile Lucky “Damian” Mogale.  Now under the directorship of (Jean-Jacques Markgraaff, Katlego Kgosieng, Leroy Khanyile, Mboneki Olifant) The company originates and is currently based in a small town situated in the Westrand called Carletonville. APE Concepts is an entertainment company focused on events management and services, but not limited to that, with other concepts such as clothing, photography and artist and model management. The brand was started with the purpose of developing talent in the above mentioned fields in and around Carletonville without being limited to Carletonville as the brand has already been involved in events and partnerships outside Carletonville, with that said, the brand has successfully recruited different creatives who each specialize in the different departments under APE Concepts   Products & Services: PRODUCTS: APE Concepts Clothing & Merchandise SERVICES: Events Planning, Events Marketing, PA System Hire (Event Sound System), DJ Or Performing Artist Hire, Model Hire, Photography.   Projects and Initiatives to uplift the local youth and community at large: The Writers Lounge Music Experience – a live performances event hosted at Timez Café by APE Concepts featuring artist from Carletonville and the rest of South Africa, getting on stage to showcase their talents, be it poetry, rap, singing, stand-up comedy, live instrument performance and/or DJ’ing. The Writers Lounge Music Experience is hosted every month at Timez Café in Carletonville, all the shows have been very successful with a turnout of note. Companies we’ve partnered with include: Mogolo Authentic Experience Events (MAEE), Mothaland Funk, Heavy Hitters, End Of The Weak MC Challenge, BlaqBase Entertainment, 205 Media Experience, Luv Mandawana   Events we have organized and hosted include: Samkelo’s 21st Birthday Party – with Mothaland Funk Cassandra’s 21st Birthday Party – with Mothaland Funk Magic Soul’s Candi Roots Vol.3 Listening Session – with Mothaland Funk & MAEE APE Concepts Launch Party (#APECONCEPTS30NOV) – biggest party in Carletonville to date APE Concepts NYE Shut Down Party LongLiveJiggy’s 21st Birthday Celebration End Of The Weak MC Challenge South African Launch – with HEAVY HITTERS Writers Lounge Music Experience(1-3) Featuring Mizchif Long Live The Turn Up (Featuring Ginger Breadman & DJ Yanga)   All of these events were very successful and the revenue reflected the turnout and support we got. We had at least 500 people attending each of these past events and we boast about always hosting incident free events every time we host. We are looking to increase this number by hosting and organizing bigger, better and safer events in future.   APE Concepts Clothing (The reason for funding): We’ve produced over 500 T-shirts since the beginning of our T-shirt production, a majority of those customers being residents of Carletonville, and then some of our customers being from places such as JHB, PTA, Vaal, Mafikeng and Limpopo. We’ve received props on our clothing from people in Dubai and Nigeria.
