Anti-Bullying Campaign

WHAT: NON-Profit fashion and yoga Short Film to bring awarness to anti-bullying and self acceptance in teens from ages 12-17.  WHO: LeachProject.com who is dedicated to bring confidence and self-esteem to teenage boys and girls.  WHERE: Vancouver, BC.   My name is Melissa, I am 32 years old and I live in Vancouver, BC.  I am a Hair Stylist and yogi...now recently a filmmaker and I need your help to tell my story. When I was a kid I was bullyed, I used to run home from school everyday crying....and as a result I had very low self-esteem.  When I was a young adult, 19yrs old, I was violently bullyed and now I have a permanent scare on my nose that reminds me of that tramatic event everyday...and this incidence lead me to have no self-worth and making poor choices.  What has helped me is practicing yoga,  my passion for hair styling, and making a difference in peoples lives. I knew I wanted to create a short film that was going to be about fashion, yoga, giving back to the community and telling my story to help others.  It all came to me during a yoga class, I heard the loadest OM from the teacher that I have ever heard. Om is a Mantra, it highers your vibrations and energies and that is when the vision happened for this short film. I have 20 Canadian actors, a Director of Photography, Hair and make-up artists and crew that are willing to volunteer their time to this project!  I plan on this going viral!  There will be costs for Production and I need your help!
