Annie-Lee and Troy’s Support Fund

Annie-Lee has been struggling these past few months because she is preparing for a long-drawn-out custody battle with her ex. The ex was emotionally abusive and controlling. He would not let her finish school to better herself. Also, he would not let her obtain a drivers license and made her rely on him to get anywhere. He tried to have all contact to and from her family in North Carolina, Maryland, and Indiana cut off from her by deleting phone numbers and denying access to her phone.

After having a bone spur removed from her wrist in June; the ex told her employer she was putting in her 2 weeks notice. He tried to stop any family member on her side help her watch or help with Troy while she recovered. He refused to take her to have her stitches removed within 7 to 10 days after surgery. Those are only a few things that went on.

On July 3rd they separated and Annie is living with her family. The ex filed for emergency custody of Troy and the state granted him temporary custody. The reason he was granted temporary custody was his fear of her leaving for Indiana and her being unemployed at this time.

To make a long story short,

Her immediate family has helped with the retaining fee for an attorney. Her attorney says she has a very good case for full custody with the evidence she has given and obtained. She is struggling with the remaining fees and extra cost for her case.

Please if you can help, share this with your friends and family. We are lucky enough to recuse her from an abusive situation before it became physical. No one deserves this type of treatment and now she has to fight to get her son out of the same situation.
