Anna’s Medical Expenses

This fundraiser is to raise money for Anna Hawks. Anna is 70 years old and is going through a difficult time. Two years ago she fought a successful battle with breast cancer. A mass was removed and she received radiation to combat the disease but since then other tragedies have struck her. For years she has lived with back and hip pain due to sculiosis and a short leg. Recently the pain has become unbearable and she has been diagnosed with degenerative arthritis in her hip.

Her husband of 50 years died of lung cancer in July, 2013. After his death his life insurance did not completely cover burial expenses and her SSI benefits were reduced. Since then she has been living from day to day and medical expenses as well as life expenses have added up. She is needing a hip replacement surgery done but even with medicaire this is going to be very costly. She cannot afford surgery, rehabilitation, and travel expenses.

Anna is a Christian lady and is very compassionate towards others. She has always helped others and now needs help herself. The pain she is going through with her back and hip is wearing her down. She has trouble getting out of bed and is also suffering from depression. Any donation given will be a blessing and will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for all your support.
