My name is Anda Mtshintsho, I am a student at Rhodes University who recently obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and Entomology. I have been offered an opportunity to do my BSc Honours in Environmental Science, however I am unable to register due to the fact that I still need to pay an Initial Fee Payment (IFP) of roughly R23 000. I managed to raise a little over R16 000 in the last two months which brings the amount to R5 000. I need to pay off this amount before the 13th of March 2021 to be able to register (the period is extended to the 26th of March for late registration, with extra fees). This fundraising method will help me register for my postgraduate degree and afford me the opportunity to further my studies. I was previously funded by the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) from my second year of undergraduate. I have applied for postgraduate funding but due to how the 2020 academic year was because of the global pandemic, many funding institutions will only respond in April which will be too late for me to register. The money will go straight to the institution's bank account (which I have included) and NOT my own. The Covid-19 pandemic has put us all off financially so the little that you have goes a long way. Thank you so much for taking your time to read this. May the good Lord be with you always.
