Since June 15, 2022, Pakistan has been drenched by extreme monsoon rains resulting in the worst flooding in Pakistan. According to the Reports by Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), the floods have affected almost 35 million people and destroyed more than 1 million houses. At least 1,200 people were killed and about 5000 people got injured by the sheer magnitude of floodwaters that inundated thousands of acres of land in the country.

Almost all provinces have been badly hit by the flood waters of Pakistan. I myself have witnessed people surviving in the scorching sun without having food and shelter which has pushed me to come out and appeal to you to donate so that we could provide the people food, tents, and medical care to avoid the spread of waterborne diseases. I being a Fulbright scholar will distribute your donations to the deserving victims fairly.
Thank you for coming out for this noble cause.
