An amazing opportunity to study abroad

Hello everyone, first of all, thank you for taking the time to read my fundraiser. To start, i'm Marcella (nicknamed Marcy) and I've recently been accepted to the University of Lugano in southern Switzerland. I currently live in Bournemouth along with my family.

Unfortunately, being accepted didn't mean that all my problems were solved. After contacting the university, I discovered that a foreign student in Switzerland may not work part time during his/her first 6 month. Luckily, I've been working as a waitress the past year and have collected enough to pay the first semester's tuition. The bigger problem....is that I do not have the money needed to pay for the flat I'll be staying at.

The deposit required to be made for the flat is a total of 2000 chf (swiss francs). I've never considered asking for donations for a personal cause...but as things stand, I' afraid I won't be able to earn the money needed in time.

For those curious, I've been accepted into the Bachelor's program of Informatics. I honestly never thought I would be accepted, which is why I want to do my best to make the most of this opportunity and not waste it. The deposit is literally the only thing standing in my way.
