Our small railroad museum has purchased a former railroad ambulance/hospital car once used for transporting injured employees from remote work areas to larger medical facilities.  This car was used on the Canadian Pacific Railway.  This is a very unique car and to our knowledge, none like it still exist.  As an unusual piece of railroad history it will help us to tell the story of the men and women who worked in very remote areas and the risks that came with the job.

However, the car is currently sitting in California.  While it is safely and securely stored, we need to get it to West Virginia to join the rest of our collection.  Any funds remaining from the transportation of the car will be used to help with the restoration of this unique piece of equipment.  Please help us to accomplish this goal and start the restoration work on this historic piece of railroad equipment so that current and future generations can enjoy the car and learn about it's role in our nation's history and development!
