Campaign Story
My name is Abbie and I’m a first year Biology student at the University of Lincoln. I'm an aspiring life scientist eager to learn and to contribute towards scientific exploration and research.
I will be volunteering as a Research Assistant in the Western Amazon Basin in Peru with Operation Wallacea, a biodiversity and conservation management research organisation.
Operation Wallacea a global organisation that brings scientists, academic researchers and students together to conduct fieldwork to address major issues related to the sustainable management and conservation of some of the world’s most diverse but threatened environments.
The global collaboration of passionate scientists and researchers alike with local communities create a truly research orientated project with a wealth of knowledge from many disciplines.
The smallest donation is deeply appreciated, and is an investment into safeguarding our planet from deforestation and the extinction of so many species and ecosystems.
Thank you.
