Bom Dia Everybody,

I am Leo, an experienced Tourism Guide specialised in Amazon Rainforest Jungle Tours.

In August 2019, I acquired a location of 12Ha along the Urubu, one of the many rivers in the amazon.

With the aim to developed and establish a professional self-sustainable and ecological Lodge for tourism by integrating sustainable features such as permaculture farming, tropical fruits plantation, rainwater collection and progressive guidelines. I started with the help of some friends, strong motivation and my last financial resources, to build the 3 first Guest Houses and A shared lunch room. Some other facilities are in planning.

Since 2 months now, I accommodate guests at my Lodge and offer different personal Guided Tours and excursions in the Amazon Jungle on daily bases and guests are lodged as well as tours held under ecological-responsible & sustainable measures to reach the demands of responsible eco-tourism.

For and during tours, Pirogas (The traditional boats of the amazonas) are being used, often in combination with a petrol/Gasoline outboard engine and as serve as the main mean of transport.

And here comes the issue,

As you can hear, the sound of a petrol engine can be quite loud and does disturb as well as impact the environment in a constant negative matter.

These engines do produce a lot of noise, carrying the risk of harmful liquid leaks and on top of that, causing steady emissions of exhaust gases and pollution to the environment. I considered them in combination with eco-responsible tourism a bad option. It doesn't really fit that concept.

An eco-friendly, efficient and sustainable alternative would offer an Electric Outboard Engine in combination with a Solar Charger.

Tours and tasks could be absolved in a much greater relationship with the environment as these engines lower the environmental impact in a beneficial way. The use of a solar charger circumvents the usage of fossil energy resources and in addition contribute to eco-sustainability in terms of resources.

They might seem quite expensive compared to petrol powered ones but are in terms of protection and conservation of biodiversity, environmentally friendliness and sustainability the best option for supporting that concept.

And that's why I am asking for YOUR SUPPORT & HELP.

With every donation I will able to improve the ecological aims of this project and move one step further in an eco-responsible tourism. I hope that the rewards will attract your attention and will to support this concept as I would be more than pleased to welcome and accommodate YOU funders at my Lodge and offer YOU a unique and unusual Adventure in the amazon rainforest, without the noise and gases of a loud & stinky petrol outboard engine :)

Please do have a look at Facebook & YouTube as you can get a taste there of what some rewards will look like in real. Enjoy, and meet you hopefully soon in the Jungle.
