Who are we?
My name is Amanda and I'm an ELL (English Language Learner) teacher in Washington, DC. My fiance, Tom, went back to school for biochem, and as a result, is only working part-time. As you can probably imagine, trying to save for a wedding on a teacher's salary is virtually impossible, especially with the loom of education loans hanging over our heads.
What we need?
We aren't trying to do anything too fancy, but living in an expensive city such as Washington, DC certainly brings the cost up. Our wedding will likely cost $10,000 by the time we're done planning. And any little bit helps. That's where you come in!
