Eugene K. Tapii or Gene is 7 years old and born in the State of Hawai'i. At the age of 4, Gene was diagnosed with Autism and Speech Delay. We've spent the past 3 years trying to find a solution within the islands but to no avail. Just recently we've decided to make the move from Hawai'i to Kansas City, Kansas. The move was prompted so that Gene could attend a brain balance program; that has proven to help children like Gene advance in many areas of life. Areas that seem so basic in most peoples lives but are detrimental to someone with Autism.
The cost of the center is $12K and so far we've raised $2K. We're humbly asking for you thoughts, prayers, donations and support in making this a reality for Eugene. Space is limited so we must act as quick as possible. On behalf of our son Gene, we thank you for your time and support in making a true difference in a childs life.

Every penny and piece of your support is truly needed to support brilliant brains that require more guidance and attention than that of our own. The fact that we could be hindering Gene and many other children like him in this country is utterly astounding. We lack the visual and pattern thinkers that they essentially are among other things. If each one of us took the time to help each other out and also educated ourselves on autism, we would certainly pave the way for new and necessary brilliance.
