The Cape Town refugee crisis continues and continues to worsen despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
A refugee is someone who has survived and who can create the future, which is why today they need your donation to survive.
These people are abandoned to their sad fate, nobody from the government or from outside tries to put themselves in their place and to feel the pain they feel or it is their cries which are not loud enough to be heard or we had only hardened our hearts?
I know that we have a heart of flesh and not of iron so as not to feel their pain.
It was since October 8, 2019 that a group of refugees left their homes to seek for
resettlement in other countries because they live in danger in South Africa, but UNHCR seems to ignore their request.
For about 6 months, they have been living on the street, since their separation from the other group of refugees which is now called WCC. (Women and Children in Concern), they are exposed to rain, sun, wind and cold without food, without water, no adequate sanitation, why because the Law Enforcement prohibited donors and other NOGs from provide them with food and other needs.
Now they re located in a tent in Wingfield military base on Voortrekker road Kensington in reason to protect them from Corona virus

.no mattresses,no blankets,no gloves,no sanitizer,no mask, there still holes in tent that brings the wind in which means children re still expose to cold.
when you see the conditions in which they live in this tent, it exposes them more to the virus, fortunately, none of them is infected with the virus.
according to the latest news from this Friday, 10 April , an immigration officer has assured them that they will be evicted again after the lockdown when they have no house, they have no work waiting for them.i can imagine their life after that if really they will be evicted.their children cannot go to school because for more than 6 months, they have been fighting alongside their parents without going to school to claim their rights.
Affected by this situation as some of my lovely friends are there too, I decided to organize this fundraiser just to buy them the necessary such as soap, disinfectant, diapers, milk, coffee, sugar, tea, toiletries for women, books that children can read and find a Hall where they can rent for at least 6 months while they deal with their problem because they have a lawyer with them.
The world will not be destroyed by those who do evil, but by those who watch them without doing anything.
They need our donations
