Help Alec Dent and Rory Stirling Buy and Drive an Evacuation Vehicle to Ukraine

Weʼre asking for donations to purchase vehicles to be taken to support the war in Ukraine

A message from Alec and Rory:

In January, we are joining a group of entrepreneurs and tech professionals to deliver vehicles for use by Ukrainian medical services near the frontline.

The convoy is organised by Ventures Together, in partnership with Driving Ukraine, and together we will be embarking on a 4 day, 1,350 mile journey across Europe to Lviv in Ukraine to deliver these vehicles, critical to the Ukrainian effort, and in particular injured troops. We will be responsible for covering all the costs of the journey but we'd be incredibly grateful for any support you can give towards the cost of our vehicle.

The vehicles, procured through UK auctions and modified by dedicated volunteers from Driving Ukraine will be placed with essential teams in Ukraine including: Ambulance, 4x4 evacuation, first-aid responders, foreign volunteer medics, and humanitarian bomb disposal, among others.

Our mission is scheduled just prior to the 2-year anniversary of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. The urgent need for assistance in Ukraine is undeniable, especially when the international community's attention is sparser. The longer this invasion persists, the more challenging it becomes for Ukraine.

The toll of this conflict is staggering, with tens of thousands of civilians killed, countless more injured, and hundreds of billions of dollars in infrastructure damage. Ukraine faces the largest displacement crisis in Europe since World War II, with 6.2 million Ukrainians forced into becoming refugees. Nearly half of Ukraine's population, 18 million people, require humanitarian aid.

We humbly ask for your support in funding the purchase and modification of one vehicle. Money raised over our goal will go towards funding additional vehicles. For large donations, please contact us directly.
