African/American.Family.Project

A/A.F.P  is 501 C-3 organization, which is dedicated to helping individuals and families who are vulnerable and at risk at poverty and food/education deprivation. Though our combined services we strive to meet their needs by stabilizing their lives, which ultimately allow them to achieve a better quality of life. By drawing upon local knowledge, data and expertise to understand the community’s needs, A/A.F.P is able to identify where gaps exist and concentrate on what works in addressing them, serving as a powerful advocate on critical social, health and human issues.  We focus on three critical areas within our organization: Provide Opportunities to the Under-Privileged and Under-Served. Instill a sense of "community" to local residents through community based programs. Serve as advocates for Youth and Provide solutions to help reduce Youth-on-Youth crime.
