Africa Mission Trip

Can you imagine living your entire life in a rural village where the knowledge of your existence is unknown to your own government? Where your geographic isolation allows disease to decimate those you love, while the dependency on witchdoctors has caused a spiritual oppression that has ravaged your people?

The expedition I will be a part of will be located in Zambia, South Africa.We will focus on evangelism and discipleship as we preach the Gospel and strengthen the local church. We will be out in the “bush” of Africa which is the vast land between villages and huts. We will camp out in tents on these nights and continue to reach as many people as we can by inviting them to campfires at night when we can share the gospel and personally connect with the individuals from different tribes.

You can help by partnering with me in prayer and finances for this expedition. The total cost of this expedition is 3600. This includes all travel costs to and from Zambia, as well as all costs for the 14 day expedition. Would you pray about partnering with me with an offering of $50-$350? If you are able to give more that would be great; however, any amount will be appreciated. There are a couple different ways to donate, one is to go online to overlandmissions.com and click the “donate” button and type my full name (Jessica Ortiz) in the memo blank on the page, this is the easiest way to donate as long as you put my name in the memo box, I can also receive checks made out to myself. All support must be in by March 20, 2016, and the expedition leaves June 1. I will follow up with a phone call to talk to you personally as well within a week of you receiving this letter!
