Campaign Story
At age 7, Siena was diagnosed with a rare and debilitating, life-shortening, degenerative, neuromuscular disorder called Friedreich’s Ataxia. Currently there is no cure for her condition. Since being diagnosed, Siena has had trouble walking and is expected to need a wheelchair in the next several years.
Siena is an energetic 8 year old with a big personality. She loves Minecraft, Harry Potter, Legos, and animals, especially wolves. She has been asking to "re-do" her room for over a year. Not your typical girl, her favorite colors are black, grey and blue.
Design services have been donated to create a bedroom for Siena that will not only function to support her physical disabilities over the next several years but also create a place of respite where she is surrounded by her favorite things.
