A Pizza Dinner For Christmas

Dear Donors,

I always wondered when would I ever need a fund from people I don't know. I guess I am desperate enough to ask for the help now.

Here goes the story. I am a university student from Hong Kong, right now I am doing an unpaid internship alone in Japan. Everything here is expensive, and I have to pay rents and transportations fees without any salary from the company. I have been saving up for this internship for quite a while, I worked 2 part-time jobs for half a year, but the money I earned was barely enough to support this three-month internship without any salary.

So far, for every day I spent here, I struggled to make ends meet by buying the discount lunch boxes (rice and some seaweed) at night. I have been having the same food for two weeks.

In my childhood, I remembered that on Christmas day, my family would have turkey and pizza together. They are very far from me now, so I guess I will have my own Christmas dinner. But, a few days ago I had a look at my bank account and realised that I could not afford pizza after paying my rents.

I know that I am asking for a lot. Anyways I still have a place to live and enough food every day. But I do have this wish for Christmas that I can have the money to buy a large pepperoni pizza.

This is my first time using this platform, and I do hope it will be the last for my personal reasons. Although I am broke now, I will still try my best to help people who are less fortunate. I believe someday I will have the money to buy pizza not only for me, but for so many more people in need.
