A new home for our family

Hi My name is Melissa and I am trying to raise funds to furnish a new home for myself and my 4 and 6 year old boys. We have had a rough time the last year or so and have had to bounce around from place to place. It all started when I injured my back in March of 2012. Because of my back injury I was unable to work for almost a year, due to my injury we slowely lost everything including our home and have since been staying with different friends and family in the area. I was finally able to start working again in January of this year and have since been trying to find a place that I could afford to move into with my kids. I finally received a phone call on Monday and was informed that we were approved for for a home in an affordable housing community. Now that I have a home for my children I need to try and get all the basic furnishings for it. I have been able to round up a few things, but am still in need of a lot of the basic necceities including bedroom and livingroom furniture, kitchenware, bathroom supplies, ect. I was doing research online to try and find help to do this when I discovered this fundraising site. So I am reaching out to not only my friends and family but also the online community to try and raise the funds needed. If you are able to help know that we appreciate it more than you can ever imagine. We are not asking for much even a few dollars here and there from people can add up quickly and enable us to have what is needed to make our new place an actual home.
