A home for Deborah

The home my brother and I have been living in for the past 5 years has been sold and we just learned the new owners want us out. They have given us until the end of January. With the pandemic and all it's been a hard road for us as it has been for many. I tried calling rental agents but everyone said their properties did not accept pets. Our pets are our family and we just can't leave them or abandon them. We have had them for years. So I made a decision to try and buy a house so I could keep my pets. I have been told I qualify but that I need to come up with $4,000.00 to make that happen. I have $2,000.00 saved. But not sure how I can come up with the rest in such a short time frame. Both my brother and I are on social security so our income is very limited. We have no family members who would be willing to help us. And friends are pretty much in the same financial limits we are in. being a senior citizen I never dreamt I would be in this situation at this time in my life. it's hard for me to ask for help I have always been a very self determined person and figured out how to get myself out of a jam. But now it's not just about me, I have my brother to think about now. He has TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) and has gotten to the point his memory is not so good so he needs my help.

I'm doing my best to stay brave for both of us and our pets. It's very scary to be in a position that you might be homeless soon. And what a horrible time for it to be too with the pandemic. Scares me terribly. I am praying that God leads someone to this who can help. I would spend the rest of my life paying it forward to others in my position. I am always praying for others and help when I am able.

What ever you can do would be greatly appreciated and will be a life saver for us both.
