A help for his medical funds

Colton "CJ" Jones is known for his spirit, resilience, brilliance and his bounty of love as evidenced by his warm smile and energy. We are partnering with those who know (and whom may not know) and love CJ; and whom have been touched by their time with him to help us to get CJ the care and attention that he desperately needs. On Thursday October 12th, CJ had an asthma attack that resulted in complete deprivation of oxygen to his brain for an extended amount of time. This was triggered and worsened by his smoke inhalation from the California wildfires, and it caused his arrival to the hospital showing no signs of life as a result of cardiac arrest. He was resuscitated after 20 minutes, but remains on life support and in critical condition in the ICU at a local Sacramento hospital. Although the situation is critical, we absolutely refuse to give up hope. We are praying for and expecting a miraculous healing. He has already defied the odds and doctors believe his age is working in his favor.

We need your help. CJ's parents and long time girlfriend are by his side and are currently staying (and going back and forth) in Sacramento where he is hospitalized. Transportation, time off from work and hotel expenses are steadily rising. Getting CJ from the west coast back to Philadelphia where he can be surrounded by family and friends, and provided the best possible medical care is an uphill battle. His placement in a long-term care facility where he can be given the attention he needs is going to be expensive, and threatens to leave CJ and his family straddled with immense medical debt. We are partnering with those who have expressed a desire to help.
