A Friend in Need; Jesus Malpartida

Helping a friend and his family,

  Jesus Malpartida commonly known as Chucho,  is a Peruvian-American who has served in the United States Marine Corps from 2003 to 2011.  Chucho was part of Marine Aircraft (Group 49 Det B) & Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 452 (VMGR-452) .Having been deployed in Iraq and returning home safetly from his tour of duty. “Chucho”  is a loving father to his 6 year old son, Adriano and dedicated husband to Magaly.  Always prioritizing his family and working to provide and build a successful future. As economic times are becoming more and more difficult we realize the sacrifices we must make to maintain our family’s future and dreams.

            On one of the many overnight shifts that Chucho has worked countless times, a dramatic and unfortunate accident occurred on the evening of December 5^th at approximate 4AM. Chucho was involved in a severe car accident, where he was spared his life that evening! He woke up at Westchester Medical Center with four fractured ribs, broken legs and a few other minor injuries.  Chucho had survived the car accident, he was fortunate that he did not have any head related injuries. The most difficult challenges are now ahead of Chucho as he must face a number of surgeries and endure rehabilitation and physical therapy.

His family has many questions that still need to be answered but these questions are being answered slowly. Chucho must focus on making a recovery. As the sole provider for his family,  financial concerns arise and as we hope that he will make a full recovery, we hope we can come together and generate a gift that will lessen the burden on his family for the upcoming months.   All donations will be 100% directed to Chucho’s immediate family, please help us with any small donations.
