A Dutch dancer in New York City

Dear reader,

This summer I had an audition at The School of American Ballet in New York City. The result is positive. I have been admitted! This makes me the first Dutchman ever to study at this world renowned institution. Naturally, my family and I were really happy with this delightful news. However, there is one small problem: it's extremely expensive. Here is where I seek your help. We need some financial assistance to cover the costs of housing, classes, travel expenses etc. In total, this first year amounts to $30,000. We managed to put in a substantial amount by ourselves, but we still fall thousands of dollars short.
