As parents of Georgia who was diagnosed in March 2018 with Ewings Sarcoma we we will never forget everthing that was done to help and support our family. Two years on from when G was first diagnosed we were heartbroken to recently learn of a friend going through a similar experience. Angela is a teacher at PCF school on Tondo dumpsite here in the Philippines. She lives in the Tondo area with her husband Randy and three children Althea who is 7 years old, Nicolai who is 4 years old and their youngest daughter Aeisha who is 2 and half years old. As many of you will know PCF is very close to our hearts and we have met many wonderful people committed to helping the children at PCF school secure a future. Now Angela faces the worst battle that any parent ever has to face because in March 2018 Aeisha, her youngest daughter was diagnosed with a brain tumour. The tumour is currently Grade 1 pre-cancerous but with it being 7cm in size and already affecting Aeisha's eyesight there is an urgency to get little Aeisha the treatment she so desperately needs. Angela and Randy (like we did) feel overwhlemed by the decisions they have to make and the funds that need to be raised. It all seems too much but it isn't if only we can all pull together and help them.
Our wonderful support network here have pulled out all the stops to try and find out what the right treatment is for Aeisha. Our oncologist here has put us in touch with Dr Li Yongqiang from Guangzhou Orient hospital in China that has treated many patients with Aeisha's condition and is willing to accept Aeisha but treatment needs to start very soon. We are also waiting to get another opinion on Aeisha's diagnosis to ensure that Angela and Randy can make a decision that feels right to them as parents.
We have set up this page for Aeisha to try and give her a fighting chance. Please share this site with family and friends. We would be incredibly grateful for any support you are able to give. We are also accepting cash or cheque donations. Please contact us through this site for further details. Please help us to help Aeisha. With much love the HPs.
