A better life

Hello, my name is Alex, I'm from Moldova, a once beautiful country which is continuously being devastated by its corrupt government, leaving it the poorest member of the EEA. Since I got my MA I've been trying to do something better with my life, to gain a purpose. Eventually I ended up in a foreign country, having no other options but work and sleep as my living expenses sometimes even exceed my income as a night shift agency grafter. My parents are of pension age (60), and that pension (after over 40 years of work) is merely 100 pounds a month in Moldavian currency, which is, again, barely enough for a normal life. I've been striving to support us, but my work took me away from them, and from myself. I'd like to do other things with my life, like learn driving for once (I never had the chance, time or money) or take courses where I could learn new skills that would help me get along in this fast-changing modern world, but my current situation leaves me no other option but wasting my own time for the cause of companies that are of no use to me, the kind that only care about their own profits and nothing more. I am not in any way in a pursuit of a "fancy" life, I don't really care about brands and other stuff that some people go crazy and biased about, like phones and clothing etc, etc. - that's just not me. I've wanted other, simpler things, I just need time and some financial independence to figure out a way to make me and my folks a bit happier, to spend time with them while there there still is time, because they're all I have left in this life, I have no one else. I am sincerely thankful for any support provided, and would be more than happy to do the same for similar and better causes. Thank you.
