Campaign Story
Since September of 2012, seven year old Alivia has been battling a form of brain inflammation called Rasmussen’s Encephalitis which has resulted in seizures, some brain injury as well as partial loss of the use of her right side and speech. Many complications have arisen from both the drug therapy and the progression of this rare disease. Alivia is presently in Hospital undergoing treatment not only for her disease, but also for some of these complications. Alivia maintains a joyful loving spirit in spite of her circumstances.
This family is experiencing such a trying time, with no idea of what lies ahead for them. We are fundraising to provide vital funds for this family’s basic needs while Dad takes a leave of absence from work to spend time with Alivia and his wife during this difficult period.
If you can help this family by contributing funds it would be so greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance on behalf of Alivia and her family, for your contribution and time.
